Intended use:

HEIM 15 is a large communal shelter designed to bring people together outdoors throughout the year. Whether at a scout camp, family campsite, outdoor event, beach gathering or winter basecamp, it creates a protected central space where people can cook, eat, talk and spend time together. Its integrated smoke vent allows a campfire to remain at the heart of the shelter, transforming it from simple weather protection into a warm and inviting place to gather. Designed for use in all seasons, HEIM encourages people to stay outside longer, even when the weather turns cold, wet or windy.

Product USP:

HEIM 15 combines traditional campfire shelter concepts with modern materials and flexibility. The circular design naturally creates a communal space around a central fire, while the integrated smoke vent features three adjustable flaps that can be adapted to changing wind conditions. The shelter can be pitched using the supplied adjustable steel pole or without a centre pole by using three wooden poles in the integrated pole cups. Constructed from NORDISK Technical Cotton Eco Ripstop, it combines durability, breathability and a comfortable indoor climate with excellent resistance to year-round weather conditions. The result is a robust shelter that supports outdoor living well beyond the summer season.

Approach to extend the products lifecycle:

The HEIM 15 is designed with longevity and repairability in mind. Its fabric is protected from UV rays, mold and fungus by the NORDISK Fabric Defence System. If damages occurs, the tent can be serviced through the NORDISK Care & Repair programme at its German Manufactory. Professional inspection, repair and component replacement extend the usable life of the product, reinforcing NORDISK’s commitment to durability as a core sustainability principle. Furthermore, HEIM 15 is built with increased in-field repairability in mind – the users can mend and fix any occurring damage and continue to use the tent without limitation until professional maintenance is carried out.
