Sustainable insulation and safe grip.

PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES 

Available with two traction technologies; BUGrip dynamic carbide tip studs or Michelin WIC rubber compound. A curated material selection with sustainability and performance working hand in hand. Design with great longevity: a boot to take care of and use for many seasons.

INTENDED SPECIFIC END USE 

Winter hiking and outdoor activities.

SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION 

Icubug´s target of becoming climate positive was reached in March 2019. The company has offset all historical carbon emissions until now by 130% and will from February 2019 (start of fiscal year 2019-20) offset 200% of their carbon emissions.  

PRODUCT MATERIAL 

Shell upper: DriTan oily nubuck leather and recycled Woolpower merino wool felt. Waterproof membrane made from 50% recycled GRS certified PET polyester. Insulation: Primaloft Bio recycled and biodegradable. Lining is solution dyed and bluesign certified. Midsole: BloomFoam EVA. Outsole with BUGrip is 20% recycled rubber. Outsole with Michelin WIC is made with Fiberlite; reducing 20% of rubber material use.
