Wool sneakers are loved and appreciated. Icebug wants to offer an airy and super comfy version that is made from recycled wool, decreasing climate footprint compared to using virgin wool. The engineered knit mesh upper is light, airy and gives healthy and comfortable foot climate. The lightweight, energy returning and soft midsole creates a shoe you can walk in and wear for all day.
PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES
Supercritical EVA midsole (nitrogen infused EVA). Engineered knitted mesh upper made from a yarn in 50% recycled wool and 50% recycled PET (GRS and bluesign certified). Recycled wool felt replacing plastic foam padding in heel part.

Everyday lifestyle and activity. Perfect as a recovery shoe as it’s soft and airy and has a very soft and comfortable midsole compound.
SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION
Recycled wool mixed with GRS certified recycled PET yarn used in engineered knitted mesh upper. FSC certified natural rubber. Instead of plastic foam padding they use recycled wool felt. The owners directive of Icebug gives the direction – Icebug does not have a growth target. They’re here to drive sustainable transformation. Their vision is to be a changemaker for a society where people can thrive on a planet in balance.
