PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES
In order to realize this supply chain Icebug reached out to other brands to create higher demand, thus making it possible to the missing link – the rubber processor – to FSC certify. What Icebug have found, and what they are trying to scale by reaching out to other brands will hopefully be a changemaker for the entire industry. Should brands decide to switch from fossil rubber to sustainably sourced natural rubber, the climate impact from soles could decrease by 50%.
