Favorite outdoor activities:
Definitely silent walks and “nature bathing” (just being fully present and immersed in the natural world). I love working with the elements of nature as symbols for what’s happening in life—it’s powerful and grounding.

Spending time with good friends around a campfire, cooking outdoors, sitting in silence under a sky full of stars… that’s the kind of magic I live for.
And honestly, one of the highlights for me is planning and running the Danish Outdoor Festival. Bringing together a bunch of people who share a love for nature, movement, connection, and inspiration—it fills me up every time.

What’s your main contribution of being in the Jury do you think?
As a nature-based psychotherapist, I’m out there with my clients in every kind of weather, all year round. Rain, wind, snow, sunshine, — it’s all part of the therapeutic space. I don’t believe in “bad weather.” Everything the outdoors offers becomes part of the process. It’s about learning how to take care of your own existence and respond to what’s happening around you. Nothing is wasted.

I probably have a pretty unique take on gear and clothing, from my kind of work in the outdoors. My sessions are often slow-paced, sometimes involving hours of stillness,— either sitting or just being present. So, for me, it’s absolutely essential that my clothing and equipment keep me warm, dry, well-ventilated, and comfortable. I look for things that are functional, practical, durable, and made in a sustainable way. Because, when we learn to take better care of ourselves, we naturally become more mindful about how we care for the earth.
I am nature. You are nature. We are nature.
Nature doesn’t judge. Nature heals. Nature holds us.
Our inner nature mirrors the outer one, — and the other way around.
