The Hanki GT—represents the latest evolution of Kuoma’s classic design, crafted at the Kuomiokoski Oy factory in Finland for over 30 years with the company’s own innovative technology. Through continual refinement and the use of carefully selected, proven materials, Kuoma has created a boot that’s easy to wear, exceptionally durable, and warm—perfectly suited for Nordic winters. The updated Hanki GT model features a roomier toe box, a low heel drop, and a flexible sole, designed to meet today’s comfort standards. The warm pile lining is made from natural, sustainably sourced materials: Nordic Swan-labeled wool, regenerative hemp fiber, and recycled polyester.

At Kuoma, 70% of our winter boot styles incorporate recycled materials, and we are continually working to increase the use of sustainable and recycled options in our primary production materials.

- Upper Textile: Nylon, knitted in Finland, with a fluorocarbon-free, EU Ecolabel-certified water and dirt-repellent finish.
- Insulation: Closed-cell PE foam, produced in Finland for superior warmth.
- Mudguard: Italian leather, certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG) for sustainable practices.
- Lining: A blend of Nordic Swan Ecolabel-certified wool (50%), regenerative hemp fiber (30%), and Global Recycled Standard-certified recycled polyester (20%).
- Insole: Mulesing-free wool and recycled polyester for comfort.
- Reflectors: Scotchlite for enhanced visibility.
- Sole: Direct-injected polyurethane, made at the Kuomiokoski Oy factory in Finland
