For the Megapito only highly functional materials are used like the new Vibram-Tractionlug-outsole with 25 percent more grip than standard soles or super warm soft Primaloft Gold Insulation that has 90 percent recycle content. PRODUCT USP
Megapito is Reimas brand new waterproof winter boot for kids. With a 400 g Primaloft insulation Gold Insulation Eco (90% recycled fibers), the boot will endure cold up to very low temperature, -30 degrees. (Reima is testing the boot to endure up to -40 degrees -waiting for the test results). The boot is still very light and flexible. The boot has new Vibram technology in the sole called Vibram Traction Lug Technology, which gives the boot a first-class grip and traction to ensure safety, also on slippery surfaces as ice. The technology is used for example by trail runners, who move in demanding environments.
The boot comes with smart details for adjustment and easy to pull on. It comes comes in 4 different colors and will be available in a size range from 28 to 38. The boot is vegan and fluorocarbon free.
PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES
The new Vibram Traction Lug technology gives 25% improved traction compared to regular outsoles. The unique 3d pyramid shapes that repeat on the sides of the traction lugs hugely increase the area that comes to contact with the ground, and this turns into better grip.
The direct injection technique in the PU midsole allowed Reima make a better design and manage with less stitching in the upper. This gives improved protection against water.

- The high-quality Primaloft® insulation is 90% recycled.

FUN FACTS:
“Pito” is Finnish for grip. the name Megapito can be translated as mega grip, meaning that the shoe grips extremely well.
