Are you looking for a well-designed, durable and sustainable hiking boot for kids that costs less than 100 Euro? Here it is, the Viking Ask Mid F GTX, our Kids Award winner this year. 85 percent of the materials have some recycled content and the longevity of the shoe will allow you to pass it on for further use. The jury also likes the grippy sole and the attention to detail. The velcro closure is a lot easier to handle than lacing and a waterproof, breathable liner keeps the water out.

BACKSTORY
When making rubber soles, there is always some residue. This excessive rubber has been grinded down into small pieces and mixed into the melted rubber compound of Ask Mid F GTX sole. This is done at the factory, so no transport or other energy consuming process it being used. Not only is this good for our environment it also adds a fun speckled pattern to the sole.
